No matter how Dark it is; There is always a Rainbow to be found.
Not a whole lot to write about this week though I do think I will have a recipe post for you later this week.
I do want to share a quick pic that I put on my Instagram earlier this week.
A quick couple of links before we get into this week’s Monday Short Tale. The first is last week’s Wednesday’s Weird Tales of the Unknown.
And then this week’s Sunday Fabricated Stories, a brand new piece that you should definitely check out.
So now, here’s this week’s Monday Short Tale.
4 a.m. in the morning, moonlight casting its shadow over the city peacefully sleeping below. Until screams ripped through the air, flames turning the moonlight orange. Many people never woke up before they suffocated on carbon monoxide and smoke. Still more people ran out of their homes, fearing for their lives as their once peaceful city burned around them.
Two brunette women ran for shelter, dodging debris and panicked people as they ran for the only place in the city not burning.
Jessie stumbled but Liza pulled her to her feet and kept a tight grasp on her hand all the way up the steps to the door of the old broken down orphanage. They ducked under the protective awning of the door and turned to watch the destruction.
As the two of them stood there, watching the world burn, Liza couldn’t help but comment.
“There are three types of people in this world. Those that make things happen, those who watch it happen and those that wonder what the hell happened.”
Jessie grinned, “And what category do we fall into?”
Liza swept a hand towards the chaos currently happening in the city center, “Considering that, I’d say we’re happily the ones that make things happen.”
Jessie covered her snickers with a hand before straightening, “What now?”
“Now? Now we move on. There’s a lot more chaos to be done before we can rest.”
Jessie nodded, following as Liza led the way out of the city turning to ashes.

Well, that escalated quickly. Just why did Liza and Jessie burn the city to the ground? Where are they headed to now to destroy? Why are they spreading chaos everywhere? We’ll have to return to find the answers to those questions. What are your thoughts? Feel free to comment below.
